Rocked to the Core.

Inspiration often comes in odd forms. Sometimes it comes in long form (see below image).

What you’re looking at, good reader, is a cross-section of a rock located in White Rock, New Mexico. The citizens of White Rock have painted this particular rock again and again over the course of many years, sometimes twice a day. After decades of doing so, the layers of paint alone measured five and a half inches thick. Dang, this rock changes its look more often than Lady Gaga!

How does this relate to LK? It doesn’t, really. Other than we, too, like to get to the core of things. And we’re ever evolving? And we’re a colorful group? Maybe I’m reaching.

Gimme a High F5!

On Friday and Saturday last week, LK attended the F5 Conference, Motionographer’s yearly “cutting edge creativity festival.” We truly enjoyed listening to the diverse range of speakers from creative realms far and near. The only trouble we had was achieving our free tequila spirit… it was like the Running of the Bulls just trying to get to the back bar! Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience, and we look forward to next years fest.

The Writing is on the Wall.

Oceana Antares Jagessar Chafferâ„¢

Although she is now over two months old, we at LK are super proud to officially announce the arrival of Oceana Antares Jagessar Chaffer, Elliott and Penny’s gorgeous newborn child! As you can see, she’s already a surfing phenom, just like her Dad.

A hearty congratulations to Elliott, Penny, Zephyr, and the entire Jagessar/Chaffer clan.
